Arroyo Afternoon is a collaboration between artist/botanist Margaret Gallagher and natural dyer Erin Berkowitz of Berbo Studio. The print illustrates a scene from the Arroyo Seco in the San Gabriel Mountains, a place dear to both creators: alders and sycamores lean over the creek, while mushrooms sprout alongside a wandering newt.
The shirts are dyed by Erin using oak galls collected from the area, and screenprinted by hand in Los Angeles on a USA grown-and-sewn organic cotton shirt.
Unisex sizing; runs true to size.
